Frequently asked questions
Microsoft retired Publisher in October 2026. It's no longer included in Microsoft 365, and support for the last stand-alone version (Publisher 2021) has ended. Word and the other Office apps can't open .pub files, so many people are left with flyers, newsletters and menus they can't edit.
