Use Claude to organise a job scope, Grammarly to polish the wording and Make to explore an internal follow-up workflow. Keep estimating, safety decisions and approvals with your team.
Claude
Structure a scope from your notes
Thoughtful long-form drafts and making complex documents clearer.
Start with anonymised notes: work requested, inclusions, exclusions, access requirements and questions still unanswered. Ask Claude to structure these facts, not fill in missing specifications. Review the result and use Grammarly to check wording before putting it into your normal quoting system.
Numbers stay in the quoting system
Supply your own quantities, labour rates, supplier costs and approved tax settings. Do not accept AI-generated measurements or building-code interpretations as verified. Quotes should state assumptions and exclusions, with a qualified person reviewing the work and safety requirements.
Follow up without surprises
If you use Make, begin with an internal reminder when a quote reaches a known status. Check the exact integration with your quoting app. Do not let a workflow send revised prices, order supplies or book labour without an explicit approval step.
Try it, safely
Remove names and addresses from a sample job note.
Draft the scope, then mark every missing measurement or assumption.
Review costs in your existing system and test an internal follow-up reminder.
Common questions
Can these tools price a job for me?
They can help organise information, but your approved rates, verified measurements and estimating system must determine the price.
