Frequently Asked Questions
We look up the public records for your domain — the same information any mail server or browser can see. That includes your email anti-spoofing settings (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), your mail servers (MX), your general DNS setup, your website's security certificate (SSL), and whether your server address appears on spam blacklists.
Completely safe. This is read-only — we only look up publicly available records. Nothing about your domain, website, or email is changed, and we don't store your results.
DKIM records live under a custom name called a 'selector' that differs by email provider. We check the most common ones, but yours may use a name we can't guess. If SPF and DMARC look good, DKIM is often fine too — your email provider can confirm the exact selector.
Don't panic. Most issues (missing SPF, DMARC, or an expiring certificate) are straightforward for an IT provider to fix. Open each result for a plain-English explanation, and reach out if you'd like a hand sorting them out.
